At 15, German left his hometown and traveled to the U.S. with a dream of becoming a professional surfboard shaper. Driven by a passion for the ocean and craftsmanship, he dedicated himself to learning the art from skilled mentors. Day by day, he honed his skills, shaping boards with precision and creativity. His journey was one of dedication, resilience, to pursue the waves and opportunities…
German grew up in Cabo San Lucas, where his passion for surfing was a family affair shared with his father and brother. Driven by economic challenges, he moved to the U.S., where he learned, and spent four years acquiring the abilities to the craft of surfboard shaping. Now a skilled epoxy resin artist, German has honed his own unique style, blending art and functionality. His goal is to share his craft with the world, creating boards that capture both the spirit of the ocean and the artistry of his journey.
Due to international politics he was driven to move out and pursue his dream in the city that watched him grow, Cabo. Now days, his unique designs have captured the attention of figures like Alex Sorgente, Dana White and Natanael Cano between other significant influential people.

G style Master Glasser was his school to start manufacturing and getting himself wet in the industry. Garret , owner of G style Master Glasser taught him the art of glassing. He was involved in the making of boards for big names such as DHD, AL MERRICK and Borst Desings.

He mastered the shaping ability within hand of his mentor Landen Young, owner of Hack Surfboards; Julio nurse, owner of Kailan Surboards; and Christ Borst owner of Borst Desings.
During this time, his shaping game elevated. He also learned how to work carbon fiber and vacuum bagging techniques.
